人に使われながらも意思を持つ、モルモットの姿をした車「モルカー」たちの日常を、人形を用いたストップモーションで描く。舞台の多くは無国籍な雰囲気の都市モルシティ。モルカーは台詞を話さず、本物のモルモットの鳴き声が使われる。1話2分40秒で、回ごとに主役が変わる。
