Synopsis (intro)

SF要素のある医療時代劇。脳外科医の南方仁は2000年から幕末へ時を越え、過去の人々の運命を変えていると自覚しつつ、現代の知識と幕末の人々の協力を得て近代医療を形にしていく。居候先は旗本の橘家で、橘恭太郎の妹・咲に気に入られる。作者は、幕末の遊女たちが病で短命だったと知った悔しさが執筆のきっかけだと述べている。
