Synopsis (intro)

海沿いの田舎町に住む鹿田ココノツは、父から、実家の駄菓子屋を継ぐよう求められるが、漫画家の夢があって拒んでいた。そんな夏の日、都会的な美少女の枝垂ほたるが現れる。彼女は、お菓子メーカーの社長令嬢で、ココノツの父を、自社の駄菓子屋の店長に迎えるため、ココノツに店を継がせようと奮闘する。
