Synopsis (intro)

題名は流浪人（るろうにん）に由来する造語。明治時代初期を舞台に、史実の事件や実在人物を絡めた物語である。主人公の緋村剣心はかつて人斬り抜刀斎と呼ばれた剣客で、今は不殺を誓う流浪人。神谷薫らと出会い、同じ時代を戦った宿敵たちと向き合う。連載は『週刊少年ジャンプ』で1994年に始まった。

武士道と職人の流儀に惚れた強面の大学生ゴウが、侍の背中、戦記の静けさ、仕事をやり遂げる職業人、判断を背負う組織の話から20本を選んだ。強い者はなぜ力を抑えるのか。約束の重さはどこから来るのか。結末は書きません。
