少年陰陽師の焔魔堂ろくろは、トラウマから夢を諦め、漫然と日々を過ごしていた。ある日突然、少女陰陽師の化野紅緒とともに、陰陽頭から「双星の陰陽師」の称号を与えられる。その役目は、人類の宿敵「ケガレ」との戦いを終わらせる神子を生むため、二人が夫婦になることだった。
